    WELSH LOVESPOON
    This is a new, hand-made Welsh lovespoon. The custom of giving lovespoons has existed in Wales for over 300 years. The hand-made spoon was a token of lasting affection made by a young man for his sweetheart.
    Today, spoons made by local craftsmen still can be given with love or affection, or just as a unique gift.
    This spoon measures 7 1/4 inches long by 2 inches wide.
    Symbols on this spoon include two hearts: in Welsh that is called "dwy galon," meaning "togetherness."
