    Description

Beautiful antique collectible dance compact.  Top features light and medium lavender Guilloche enameling in an ornate deco design slightly domed top. Mirror inside is in good condition. Hinged back and push button opening both in working order. Attached bale holds a chain and ring. The mirror is in good condition.  Compact measures approximately 2 1/2" across and 11/16" high.
Maker's Marks indicate this piece was made by the Thomae Company of Attleboro, Mass.  They are no longer in business.  Please see info in pictures area.  Believe this was made pre-1930 based on research and other pieces found online, but can not authenticate that.
Inside the compact was an ad for an estate sale and tag noting that it came from that sale.  The ad is for the estate sale of Charles & Margaret Sweatt of Wayzata, MN (he was co-founder of Honeywell).  The sale I got this piece from in 2021 was for a woman who was very detailed in recording on small tags where everything came from... a great find!
    Realize this is not
a COA, but will include this information inside the compact when ship to keep with the piece.  I have not and will not clean or polish the piece.
Please review pictures carefully before purchasing.  Returns on this item will not be accepted unless item does not match listing description/pictures per Ebay policy.  Email with any questions and thank you for looking.
