Vintage Deco 1949 RCA Radio Model 9 X 571 Now A Bluetooth Speaker

This is a 1949 RCA radio model 9 X 571 made New York. RCA was offering a new line with the "Golden Throat" nameplate with this one nick named the Bullhorn. One of the coolest designs for the time. RCA wanted to highlight the sound rather than the dial. Love the 3 concentric golden horns spreading out the big sound of its 8" speaker. The dark brown bakelite case was in very good condition only requiring a good polish. Was able to keep all of the product info on the back & bottom panels. The radio did not work so I removed all of the old radio non working parts to make room for the new electronics. The faux wood grain on the front panel was a mess so I repainted it adding 4 gold rays from the corners to the speaker. Looking better now. Was able to clean and reuse the original thin plastic dial not perfect but again original.  There were no knobs so I used 3 matching ones from my inventory to match the case. The lines & overall shape make this a classic deco radio almost mid century modern. I like the contrast of the dark brown with the gold.  Please review the pics. Reused the original back panel. On the inside, I installed a new Bluetooth digital stereo hi-fi audio amplifier with 50 watts connected to the big original multi range speaker. Yes this 70 year old speaker sounds amazing. Real good base. Installed the on/off/volume switch with the knob on the right side panel. The others are fixed. All of the electronics are hard wired and secured to the inner supports insure a long life.  This is one of a kind Bluetooth speaker that is deco cool. A real conversation piece that makes a grand statement. There is a new electrical plug also. The 1949 RCA deco radio converted to Bluetooth speaker measures 13" x 10" x 8" .Will look good, sound great and fit anywhere. Let know if you have any questions. Please look at my other offerings.
