Vintage 1940's Executone Deco Intercom Now A Bluetooth Speaker

This is a 1940's Executone office intercom with speaker. Very cool industrial/deco piece of US electrical equipment.  Normally I am presented with a challenge to start and this was no different. The case and speaker made of oak veneer that was stained & dirty and broken. The guts and all of the attachments on the inside of the case were removed. Sanded the case & now the oak veneer looks better. The amount of damage to the base & speaker cabinet were difficult to correct perfectly so there are still beauty marks. Finished the oak veneer with a golden stain covered with several coats of lacquer. Now they look better but again aged. The push button mechanism was disassembled, cleaned, lubed & now works as designed- just for fun. Reused the volume knob on the top of the speaker but again this is just to maintain the look. Reinstalled the original screws, push buttons and brass bezel that were originally on the case. Used period correct speaker cloth on both the front & back panels. On the inside I was able to get a 4" Jensen Pro series speaker & installed a new 50 watt digital Bluetooth amp. This deco intercom really sounds nice. The on/off/volume switch is on the right side panel.  All of the electronics are hard wired and secured to the inner supports insure a long life. This is one of a kind Bluetooth speaker that is deco and industrial cool. A real conversation piece that makes a grand statement. There is a new electrical plug also. The 1940's Executone intercom converted to Bluetooth speaker measures a small 8" x 7" x 11" .
