The Ecurie Ecosse race team was founded in 1951 by David Murray and Wilkie Wilkerson.
They competed in Formula 1 (F1) races during 1952-1954 in a Cooper Bristol, and Connaught Type A race cars.
Their biggest successes came when the team won both the 1956 and 1957 24 Hours of Le Mans races!   D-type Jaguar race cars were driven to achieve these victories.
