Ronette-Holland Microphone, No Cable, Untested, For Parts

$ 102.96

Availability: 48 in stock
  • Country/Region of Manufacture: United Kingdom
  • Modified Item: No
  • Condition: This Ronette Holland Microphone is a bit of a mystery. It has no cable. It has not been tested. There is some wear and slight pitting on the chrome. There is some oxidization on the pop screen. The neck screw needs tightening (pretty loose and doesn't want to stay put except for either all-the-way-forward or all-the-way-back). I do have a little bit of experience with condenser microphones and it appears everything is there for it to function. I was surprised at how supple the rubber condenser-plate sleeve remained after all of these years. I thought maybe it would fall apart when I handled it but it did not and was pretty strong. There was some disintegrated/flakey foam inside the mic which I cleaned out and that's about all the cleaning or fixing that was done. Might be functional but likely needs some work. Definitely a candidate for restoration. Comes as shown with bakelite (maybe early plastic) mic-stand base.
