  • Condition: this is an old photo , the name is misspelled at the bottom and there is black tape around the edges , there is some damage to the negative at the side . The watermark is not on the original glass negative . this is a very rare photo and not many images of plenty coups exist when he was younger . one side part of the photo is worn off from age and storage . see pics

    Up for sale is :
    one rare glass photo negative.   it measures 3" x 4" , the edges have a black tape material on all but one, the one without the tape has some damage to the back of the negative, so the photo still shows the main part but is rare and desirable even with damage to the side.
    This features Chief Plenty Coups of the Crow Indians.  He is infront of a teepee riding a horse with the American flag.  Chief Plenty Coups allied the whites with the crown Indians during the war of the west.  The crow reservation is located in Montana in Chief Plenty Coups State Park,
    Most all of the pics i have seen of Plenty coups are old , this was found by chance and I believe it is unpublished.
    A fantastic rare photo, it does have some damage to the outer and his name is misspelled as plenty coos .
    this will be packaged in oversized packaging wrapped in bubblewrap as it is a rare photo
