Original Savignac Sucrets Advertising Art Poster Board Sign 41"x31". 1960's Store Display. My guess is this was an, in store display from the1950's or 1960's. Raymond Savignac was a French graphic artist famous for his commercial posters. He was born on November 6, 1907 and died on October 31, 2002. His work is distinguished by a humorous simplicity. This is a great example of exactly that. A fireman extinguishing a burning throat with Sucrets "FOR SPEEDY THROAT RELIEF"
Scarce! This Poster Board shows edge ware and bumped corners. There are light scuffs and scratches from storage. This was most likely some kind of in store advertising board. There was some kind of stand/in store display, originally mounted on the back. There are a few staples that were placed in the poster to hold the store display together. There is some writing on the top of the back of the poster display board. See Pictures.
