    Description

Treat yourself to this group of THREE vintage, original Arm & Hammer Soda cardboard advertising signs from the early 1900s. Included are signs featuring the Blue Jay, the Osprey and the Kingfisher. Note the brass grommet at the top for hanging, and that each sign has a canvas-like texture. Arm and Hammer inserted bird cards in their boxes of baking soda from the late 1800s through 1920. These were perhaps the most widely distributed insert cards and just about every housewife was likely to have encountered them. These store point of purchase cardboard signs were designed to encourage shoppers to add a box of baking soda to their basket of groceries. These larger signs are enlarged versions of the cards that were packed in the boxes. Each measures 14.75" x 11.25". Please consider adding these to your collection or getting them as a gift. If there is bidding interest, I will list a few more of these in upcoming auctions.
