Jaguar XK150 3.4 Engine Block With Crankshaft- Nice Shape

This is a Jaguar XK150 3.4 lower engine block with crankshaft . What you see is what you get. I really have no history on this. I am not sure even where it came from. Probably with some Jag cars I bought in a package deal somewhere many years or decades ago. I have an awful lot of this kind of in my shops and barns stashed away. Engines, heads, trannys, diffs, etc. It is time to get it back out in the sunlight before my shop sinks from the weight inside.  The 3 1/2 Litre block is casting part number C8610 with FF below. Te engine number is V 6460-8 .It looks like someone was going thru it many many years ago. The block and crankshaft look like they were done. But after sitting this long, that does not mean much as there is minor rust here and there from sitting open. So probaby figure a trip to the machine shop before building it. I tried to show the condition with a couple pictures.. It is getting harder and harder to find this old original stuff out there. If you are doing a XK150 restoration, finding the correct parts is always a challenge. Even if you do not need this now, somewhere down the road you might. And this would be a great piece to go thru and have ready for when you need it down the road.You are more than welcome to come check it out in person here in Prescott to see what is what.
