    Amazing Historical Photograph
    Chief Spotted Tail was a Brulé Lakota tribal chief and fierce warrior. He was shot and killed by Crow Dog in 1881 for reasons which have been disputed. He is known for helping convince Crazy Horse to surrender in 1877.
