    Chief Hailstorm
    was known as, “The Globe Trotting Cherokee” and started out with
    Buffalo Bill
    as a youngster. He also worked with Irwin Brothers of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Miller Brothers 101 Wild West Shows of Oklahoma.
    He worked in the Movies with the famous Tom Mix in 1914 and 1915.
    He also toured the United States and the world in Vaudeville. Later gave educational lectures on the life and habits of the American Indians in Public and Private Schools.
    CHIEF HAILSTORM WAS ONE OF THE FIRST INDIANS OF THE SILENT MOVIES, IF NOT THE FIRST,
    AND WORKED WITH TOM MIX (The cowboy actor before John Wayne), MIX WAS FRIENDS WITH WYATT EARP AND HIRED WAYNE AS "PROP BOY AND EXTRA" FOR EARLY COWBOY MOVIES THAT LEAD TO WAYNE`S LONG CAREER.
