Description

Important antique German lithographic poster from c.1910-12 advertising Hill's American Indian Band. Indianer Kapelle, multi-color lithographic process by sheet measures 24.5 x 37 inches.  Any paper loss, creasing or damage apparent is at the discretion of buyer to conserve. The poster is being sold as-is. The sheet if free, unfixed and has never been glued down to a backing.

The poster comes from the estate of a Philadelphia family. Included in a portfolio were photographic images of the Kapelle (also known as Hill's American Indian Band), programs, playlists and the original contracts for the business enterprise signed in Munich, 1910.
