    Description

    Apache leader, Mangas, son of the great Mangas Coloradas.
    After his father passed away, he served as a military scout in several capacities including service in Troop "L" in the 7th Cavalry at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Mangus became head of Mangas' Village. He passed away on February 9, 1901 at Fort Sill.
