Antique Nymphenburg French Bull Dog

Description

CONDITION:  Excellent, first quality.
This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century.
It has the impressed shield marking and artist’s initials WHB incised in the porcelain.  The dog measures 7 inches long and  6 1/2 inches  tall. The dog is well modeled, anatomically correct for the breed.
He
is a handsome specimen right down to his toe nails. The excellent production of porcelain figurines is comparable to those created at Meissen.
