    Up for auction we have an 1890 silver 20 cent piece from Newfoundland. This coin is sterling with a weight of 4.71 grams and a diameter of 23.19 mm. Only 100,000 were minted. I don’t know how to grade this but the previous owner graded it as VF. Hopefully you can grade it yourself via the photos and description. The reverse of the coin has nice detail with only several marks noted under magnification. One under “20", one under the “NT”,
    one under the "89"
    and one above the "S". The obverse of the coin is nicely struck showing all the hairlines and some
    leaf separations and
    braids. Only several marks were noted under magnification. One on the eyebrow, two on the chin and three on the base of the neck. The coin looks much better than it sounds and will make a great addition to your collection I believe these coins traveled in bags and thus it is extremely hard to find them without marks, especially on the large surface areas.
