    396 Engine Block 1968 69 Chevy Camaro RS Chevelle SS Corvette BBC 3955272 I 27 8
HARD TO FIND ORIGINAL CLASSIC CAR & TRUCK PARTS
This is a very nice 396 block dated late 1968.  Great for a replacement block on a late 1968 or early 1969 GM muscle car that you want date code correct!  This would be a great block for a Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, Caprice, Impala, El Camino or Corvette.  It's in great shape and only bored .30 over.  This block was magnafluxed by a local engine shop and guaranteed rebuildable. It does have some light surface rust which of course affects nothing.  All of the 2 bolt main caps are in place and this block is ready for your classic.  Casting number is 3955272, I believe the date is I27 8 which translates to September 27th 1968 and  the engine code looks to be JO which is a police motor so that's kind of cool.  Ask any questions you'd like ahead of time, and good luck! Shipping is to a business address, residential shipping is an additional 0. Please use the zoom feature to ensure this item fits your version of the “right part” and that it fits your application as I rely heavily on photos and your viewpoint for part description.  I may think this part is really nice or in exceptional condition but that’s my perspective. I may have looked at dozens of broken original parts and know it’s difficult to find a good one that is not broken.  You may be looking Taiwan or Chinese reproductions made with half the thickness an OEM part has, but has shiny paint. I think the reproductions are junk because I know from experience they don’t last, you may think my part is junk because the paint is not shiny.  We may see things very differently so please take the time to really inspect this part because I love to help people find parts to complete their project, that’s my passion. I do not want a situation to unfold where someone is unhappy with their purchase of one of my parts, that takes all the fun out of a hobby that means so much to me.  If you feel like you need to see more or I missed something of importance please let me know and I’ll gladly take additional photos to help you make a more well informed decision. Please know that all of my parts are sold untested and are for restoration purposes, if it ends up being ready to install that’s a bonus for you! While these are 50 year old parts the vast majority of them have been stored away inside since the early to mid-1990’s so they will have fared better than most. Thank you for looking at my auction and good luck with your project and your passion.
Thank you for allowing me to share my passion with you.  I have thousands of original car and truck parts available in my store.  Please save me as a seller and search my store for other hard to find classic car and truck parts.
