1956 56 Chevrolet 283 V8 Engine Block D-9-6 3720991 Solid lifter Corvette READ

Description

1956 block unknown history but was a running engine untill a recent swap.  I do not know the history of this piece but i can tell you that it has a solid lifter cam, steel crank and factory GM 283 dome pistons. There is no ridge to speak of but the bores will need cleaned after having been caught in the rain at a swap meet this spring. The heads were sold separately but again this a was running engine.
